My method for teaching yoga is not unique.
During each class I begin with a grounding exercise and movements to warm the body in order to prepare for stronger poses. For the stronger poses I give students variations to challenge themselves where they are at, wether beginner, intermediate or advanced. As the class nears its end we practice poses which focus on stretching the muscles we have used, and restorative poses to quiet the mind. I then lead my students into a restful position, known as Shavasana.
One walks away from my class with positive energy having had a complete workout for the body and a mind.
Every class is unique and its content stands alone.
