About Valerie

Valerie Kanter is a health and wellness coach as well as a certified yoga instructor. She received her health coach certification from Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). In addition, she has been practicing yoga for the past 25 years and received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate from Bloom Yoga Studio located in Chicago. Valerie feels passionate about supporting individuals who are on a journey to improve their health and lifestyle.

 

Valerie teaches weekly yoga classes in Chicago, as well as coaches individuals on the path to improving their health and reaching their wellness goals. She also teaches stretching and mindfulness classes.

 

Valerie has a gift for cooking and specifically loves teaching the art of healthy cooking. She also gives private and group cooking classes, which strongly aligns with her goals of helping individuals help themselves. She has a strong desire to spread the message of the importance of preparing delicious and nutrient dense sustenance.

Valerie was a fashion stylist for ten years, working with individuals and families to feel confident, using clothing and accessories to give

​

them an edge and confidence in their outward appearance. While working with her clients Valerie came to realize she was doing more than helping them with their wardrobes. She found herself coaching her fashion clients in healthy eating, and to add exercise and yoga or meditation to their busy lives. At this point, the seed was planted for her desire to help people be healthier individuals, inside and out, which led her to return to school for further training.
